This course reviews sustainability and how to work towards minimizing our eco footprint. Learners also learn about what it was like to live during the Ice Ages.
Module 1:
The Nine R's of Sustainability
This module is an introduction to the nine Rs of sustainability. Users will build upon the more commonly known Rs: “reduce, reuse, and recycle”, and learn about other ways to work towards zero waste and minimizing your ecological footprint. The nine Rs will be explored, examples given, and resources for further learning will be provided.
Module 2:
Livinng in An Ice Age
This module is an introduction to ice ages and land bridges. Users will learn about two ice age era land bridges: Beringia and Doggerland. The course also discusses some animals that went extinct during the glacial period of the last ice age and potential causes for ice ages.
