Module 1:
Canada's Space Explorations
This module is an introduction to Canada's contributions to space exploration. Users will learn about scientific discoveries that have made Canadian history, including the Avro Arrow, the Alouette satellite, and some of the lunar module gear. Canadian astronauts helped to build the International Space Station with Canadarm and Canadarm 2, and a Canadian scientist was part of the team that captured the first image of a black hole.
Module 2:
The Olympic Games
This module in an introduction to the Olympic Games. Discover the origin of the ancient Olympic Games, and when the Olympics returned in modern times. When did the Special Olympics begin? How about the Youth Olympics? Learn about Canadian contributions to Olympic sports as well as the achievements of several Canadian athletes.
