This course explores Mayan civilization and everyday items invented by Ancient Egypt as well as the timeline of the history of both people.
Module 1
Who Are The Mayans?
This course is an introduction to the Maya people. Users will learn about ancient Maya civilization and modern-day Maya people. Several of the Maya inventions will be discussed, including the discovery of the concept of “zero,” chocolate from the cacao tree, and the use of obsidian in surgeries.
Module 2
Ancient Egypt
This course is an introduction to ancient Egypt. Users will learn about everyday items invented by the ancient Egyptians, including papyrus, the precursor to paper. The course will discuss how the pyramids were built and the process of mummification, as well as giving a brief timeline of the history of Egypt.
