Today, Vubiz, a leading elearning provider in the U.S. and Canada, announced the release of the new Chicago Sexual Harassment Prevention Training courseware. These new training courses will help corporations, associations, and government agencies with employees in the city of Chicago meet the regulatory training requirements established on July 1, 2022.
Known for best-in-class Harassment Prevention Training, Vubiz continues to grow its course library in this area of compliance training. Earlier this year, the company released a 2022 update to their existing anti-harassment employee and supervisor training courses for California, New York, Connecticut, the U.S., and Canada.
"The key to our success is that every year we get creative and refresh our content with new features while covering new threats in the workplace," said President James Rapino, Vubiz.
Chicago is the first large city to require one hour of annual bystander intervention training for all employees as part of their harassment prevention training requirements. Supervisors must take two hours of annual harassment prevention training, non-supervisors must take one hour of annual harassment prevention training, and all employees must take one hour of annual bystander prevention training.
Vubiz’s new Chicago Sexual Harassment Prevention training courses provide a timely compliance training solution for companies with employees in Chicago and organizations with a dispersed workforce. By June 30, 2023, all current employees, including short-term, part-time, and intern employees and independent contractors, must complete their first Chicago compliance training.
