Module 1:
The Beach: Water Safety
This module is an introduction to water safety at the beach. Users will learn about rip currents: warning signs to look for and what to do if caught in one, warning flags on the beach, the importance of choosing a safe swimming area, and the benefits of wearing a life jacket.
Module 2:
The Pool: Water Safety
This module is an introduction to water safety at the pool. It’s important to get to know the pool before you jump or dive in; find the shallow and deep end and make sure you’re jumping into the deep end of the pool to avoid injury. Locate the pool drains and stay away from them, to ensure a safe swim. This course also summarizes the steps to help someone in trouble in the water.
