This course is an introduction to Geography in reference to different Volcanoes as well as how some places got their unique names.
Module 1
Volcanoes
This course is an introduction to volcanoes. Users will learn the basics about volcanoes, including basic terminology and the two main types of volcanoes. Users will also learn about some benefits of volcanoes: volcanoes are a source of geothermal energy and produce pumice stones and obsidian glass.
Module 2
The Weirdest Places on Earth
This course introduces kids to interesting, weird places around the world. Kids will learn about world geography, while exploring unique land formations and bodies of water, such as the Tianzi Mountains in China and Spotted Lake in British Columbia. Users will also learn key terms, including depression, geoglyphs, and bioluminescence.
