Vubiz Exports Elearning Internationally

Vubiz is excited about our recent expansion into international markets. After 15 successful years in North America, Vubiz has recently launched a new international project in India. Last month, SKILLSdox Inc. and Vubiz entered into a 3 year partnership agreement for distribution in India. The partnership with SKILLSdox Inc. will offer Vubiz elearning to businesses across India.

Vubiz Helps United Way Oakville Fight Mental Illness Stigma

United Way Oakville (UWO) is rolling out a new mental health awareness campaign this spring, a project that Vubiz has eagerly supported since its inception.

“Can You See Me?” is a four-week corporate campaign that will be offered to a handful of Oakville companies in its pilot year. The goal is to create educated and stigma-free corporate spaces for Oakville employees, so that they feel comfortable discussing issues of family mental health and know where to get help.

Vubiz helps Cities Comply with Accessibility

The Town of Oakville and Vubiz jointly announce a customized IASR (Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation) online training course for the town’s employees. With this convenient delivery of the online training, Oakville was able to meet the Ontario Government’s mandatory accessibility training requirements.

Beyond the Course: The Learning Flow – a new framework for the social learning era

Learning is a process not an event. Learning is a journey not a destination.

We’ve heard all this for years, and yet the facts remain the same – the way that we help people learn revolves around events in the form of (a defined package of content) aka courses, where the focus still is firmly on the destination – the completion of the course – as a measure of success.

But in the age of Facebook and Twitter, and now Enterprise Social Networks (ESNs) like Yammer and Jive (where at the heart lies an activity stream that is used for a continuous stream of knowledge exchange) – there is a place for a new learning framework; one that lies between the instructionally designed course and the unstructured knowledge sharing of teams, groups and communities. We call this a Learning Flow.
